Jean Ratte graduated from medical school in
1963 and obtained a general surgery diploma from the Canadian Royal College in 1969.
From 1969 to 1972, he did chirurgical immunology research at the University of Minnesota
in Minneapolis. He completed his training in vascular surgery at the University
of Toronto in 1973.
Jean Ratte started working at the Regional Hospital in Rimouski in 1974, and after
many years of daily patient care he realized the limits that allopathic medicine
could offer. This drove him to study acupuncture and osteopathy, consequently leading
him to holonergetics.
Jean Ratte studied holoenergetics with its founders for 10 years. In 1992, he left
his medical practice to devote himself to the research and practice of holoenergetics.
Since this time, he gives conferences and presentations world-wide on a regular basis (Tucson, Vichy, etc.).
In 2002, he wrote
L’Homme cellulaire (The Cellular Man) (Janus Publishing, Montreal).
